Marine Protection Alliance (marineprotection.org)
Marine Protection Alliance (or MPA) is an international non-profit that helps cut down on illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing (IUU fishing), which negatively effects the local ecosystems both above and below the waves. I work as a contracted Social Media Director, focusing on viral campaigns on Instagram and LinkedIn.
MPA Intro Video
This is an introduction I made for Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. It's a little over a minute long and uses both original footage captured by the MPA team and stock footage. I licensed the music in the video and wrote the script, as well as getting a voice-over artist to read through it. With a handful of notes, I was able to revise some of the video to better fit the upper-management team's ideal feel.
What is IUU Fishing?
This campaign is one of the first that I did when joining the MPA crew. The idea was to create visually appealing infographics that adhered to the existing Style Guide provided by MPA.
Animal Spotlight
When working in ocean conservation, it's inevitable that you will come across some exotic animals. Such is the case with the American Crocodile that appeared during one of MPA's most recent missions. This sparked an idea within me to create an "Animal Spotlight" campaign where we highlight the interesting wildlife that are discovered while on missions.
